Leading Stars Montessori School (LSMS) is dedicated to provide children ages 18 months to 6 years old, an integrated curriculum built in biblical truths using the Montessori methods.

What is a Montessori School Program?
The Montessori Program is based on self-directed, non-competitive activities, which help children develop good self-images and the confidence to face challenges and change with optimism. The Program emphasizes: Independence and Problem Solving, Enjoyment of Learning Development of Order, Concentration, and Coordination Skills in Oral Communication Respect for Oneself, Other People and the Planet Responsible Group Membership.
It is a child-centered, alternative educational method based on the child development theories originated by Italian educator Maria Montessori (1870-1952) in the late nineteenth and early twentieth centuries. These ideas, principles, techniques, and materials inspire, inform and guide all Montessori programs.
School Goals and Objectives
Each child ages 18 months to 6 years old will develop within themselves the foundational habits, attitudes, skills, appreciation, and ideas which are essential for a lifetime of creative learning.
To follow each child’s lead and help the child develop into a self confident, competent individual.
Provide enticing and interesting materials at a child’s own level, in a nurturing atmosphere that invites learning, builds confidence and encourages self-reliance and self-discipline.
Prepare our students to move to other school settings and help them develop skills to achieve academic success and develop a healthy relationship with God, with self, with others and with His creation.

LSMS is dedicated to help your child to develop a character that is based in God’s principle to “Train a child in the way he should go, and when he is old he will not turn from it” (Proverbs 22:6)
LSMS is a Private, Christian School admitting children of any race, color, religion and national origin. LSMS program will encourage our children to learn the skills they need to become responsible, productive, independent and loving citizens of the world.
LSMS will provide daily opportunities for the child to not only develop and practice motor skills but also develop and practice the ability to control their physical movements, which is based in the Montessori’s ideas about control of error, a method of self correction that is built into both materials and teaching methods in a Montessori program and provides children with opportunities to learn by correcting themselves in order for them to develop self confidence. “The fruit of righteousness will be peace; the effect of righteousness will be quietness and confidence forever” (Isaiah 32:17).
LSMS will encourage the child to work quietly with a joyful heart and will have the sense of discovery, as he/she moves and work with freedom within the classroom and will be motivated to have self-development.
Love for God, others, oneself, and His creation along with the skills learned through the Montessori style program is our foundation in preparing our school. We believe that this will prepare them to move to any school setting and achieve academic success.
